What They Say: Eye Rhymes is a collection of humorous verses based on words that look as if they should rhyme but don't (bomb, comb, tomb). There are 46 verses (27 pages) all illustrated with colorful, cartoon-like drawings, and a sound track is available of two well-known actors reciting the verses. For children of all ages from 9 to 99.
What Elaine Says: Strange, amusing and just a little bit baffling, Eye Rhymes is as confusing for the brain as it is for eye. This is only a little slip of thing but it made me chuckle and that's good enough for me.
Some of the poems worked better with the concept than others but almost all raised a smile.
